Professional Training Backed by Practical Engineering
Understanding how to collect, interpret, and act on acoustic data is a skill set every industrial or technical team needs—but few truly master. That’s where we come in.
Our courses are developed and delivered by Six Sigma Black Belts, licensed engineers, and acoustic analysts who work on real noise control systems every day.
We don’t just teach theory—we teach how to get results in your facility.

Training Formats That Fit Your Team
Courses range from one-day intensives to multi-week skill-building programs.
Popular Courses Include:
NM101 – Basic Noise Measurements
For anyone who needs to use a sound level meter effectively. Covers OSHA compliance, acoustic fundamentals, source identification, and common pitfalls.
NM102 – Hearing Loss Mitigation & Noise Control Management
Ideal for safety leads and facility managers. Covers program oversight, documentation, and environmental compliance.
NM103 – Advanced Noise Measurements
For those with prior experience. Covers FFT, octave-band, and time-domain analysis, as well as advanced environmental testing.
NM104 – Comprehensive Noise & Vibration Analysis (1-week intensive)
Hands-on application of everything from acoustic theory to real-world system diagnostics. Includes optional plant-based testing exercises.
NM105 – Basic Vibration Measurements
Two-day workshop for equipment techs and engineers covering predictive maintenance, vibration sensor types, signal interpretation, and root-cause analysis.
NM106 – Data Acquisition, Analysis, and Problem Solving
A three-week (modular) deep-dive into test planning, multi-channel analysis, and structured problem solving—recommended for high-potential technical staff.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do we need any prerequisites for these classes?
No prior training is required for foundational courses like NM101 or NM102. More advanced courses build on that base or assume prior field experience.
Can we certify multiple team members at once?
Yes. We often run group training sessions for maintenance crews, engineering teams, and safety departments.
Do we need to bring our own equipment?
It’s encouraged, but not required. We can provide meters, analyzers, and other tools during training if needed.
Will you help us apply what we learn?
Absolutely. Post-training coaching and support is part of the Memtech difference.
