Michael Castaño is a Managing Principal at Memtech Acoustics and a graduate of MIT’s Electrical Engineering and Computer Science program. He leads with an engineering-first approach, ensuring every solution is grounded in data and designed to enhance safety, productivity, and the client experience.
Paul Edie
With over 50 years of acoustic engineering experience, Paul Edie brings an unmatched depth of knowledge to every project. Before joining Memtech, he led acoustic diagnostics and noise control initiatives within Ford’s powertrain division designing solutions that balanced performance, precision, and real-world durability. Now, as our in-house expert, Paul specializes in measurement, modeling, and noise mitigation across industrial and commercial environments, transforming complex noise and vibration challenges into engineered clarity.
Janelle Tolman
Janelle Tolman serves as Operations Manager, ensuring every project moves seamlessly from concept to completion. With a background in project coordination and client service, she oversees scheduling, logistics, and workflow integration making sure our engineering, design/build, and installation teams deliver with precision. Janelle’s focus on detail, efficiency, and communication allows Memtech to maintain its reputation for reliability, quick response, and results that last.
Ely Franklin
Ely Franklin serves as an Acoustic Engineer and Project Manager. Bringing a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Michigan–Dearborn and a detail-driven approach to every project, Ely bridges technical analysis with field execution, overseeing acoustical testing, modeling, and design/build implementation. His focus on engineering precision, project coordination, and client outcomes ensures that complex noise and vibration challenges are transformed into solutions that are both technically sound and seamlessly delivered.

As Operations Coordinator, Lee-Anne plays a key role in keeping projects on track and clients informed.
