Driven by Data.
Trusted for Results.
Our Mission

We serve industrial, commercial, and institutional clients with a proactive approach that combines comprehensive testing, benchmarking, and acoustic modeling to address root-cause issues rather than surface symptoms.
Our team of licensed engineers and technical experts ensures that every solution enhances safety, privacy, focus, and productivity. Ultimately, we partner with you to tackle challenging noise and vibration problems in virtually any environment, with the goal of meeting or exceeding your objectives while minimizing health risks in the most cost-effective manner possible.
Our Vision

Whether at work, at home, or in the community, everyone deserves an environment where they can focus, communicate, and thrive without disruption. We believe acoustics should support productivity and well-being, not interfere with them.
Our vision is to shape a quieter, more productive future by creating spaces that are safe, comfortable, and acoustically managed.
Leadership Team

Michael Castaño, AIA
Michael Castaño holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and brings nearly a decade of industry experience applying engineering principles to complex technical challenges. As Managing Principal of Memtech Acoustics, he leads with an engineering-first approach, combining analytical discipline with real-world practicality. His leadership ensures clients receive data-backed, practical solutions that improve acoustic performance, enhance comfort, and support long-term operational success.

Paul Edie, PE (Ret.)
With nearly 50 years of acoustic engineering experience, Paul Edie brings an unmatched depth of knowledge to every project. Before joining Memtech, he led acoustic diagnostics and noise control initiatives within Ford’s Powertrain Division, designing solutions that delivered long-term performance within budget. Now serving as our in-house expert, Paul specializes in acoustic measurement, predictive noise modeling, and engineered mitigation strategies across industrial and environmental applications.

Lee-Anne Webster
Lee-Anne serves as the connective force between strategy and execution at Memtech. She architects workflows, manages project coordination, and ensures consistent communication across teams and clients alike. In addition to overseeing scheduling and documentation, Lee-Anne supports marketing initiatives and human resource functions that strengthen both client experience and organizational performance. Her disciplined approach to structure and accountability helps deliver the seamless, integrated execution Memtech is known for.

Ely Franklin
Ely Franklin serves as Engineering Project Manager, bridging advanced engineering analysis with disciplined field execution. A Mechanical Engineering graduate of the University of Michigan–Dearborn, Ely applies a systems-engineering mindset to acoustical testing, predictive modeling, and integrated design-build solutions. From root-cause analysis through implementation, Ely ensures that every project aligns technical rigor with real-world execution. His leadership in project coordination and performance validation transforms complex noise and vibration challenges into engineered systems that deliver meaningful results.
